We have developed relationships with the HERS Providers, energy consultants, utility companies, and municipalities; so that we can provide our clients with the assistance that each one of their unique projects present.
Our approach is one in which we confirm what is field installed, rather than what is proposed. Many times T-24 consultants enter R4.2 ducting because they believe it is the lowest price. We know the Distribution Industry has switched to stocking R6 for the most part, with little increase in pricing to the subcontractor. Projects many times are getting R6 duct work because of this factor, but not getting the credit on the documentation. As well, often times with the new 13 SEER equipment, manufacturers’ EER ratings with third party coils are higher than shown in the documentation. We help our clients understand these common oversights and provide full value for credits used by the Builder. Assisting subcontractors and potential subcontractors understand their role in the overall plan promotes accurate bidding and pricing, thereby eliminating costly mistakes, call backs and change orders.
